Formation for Children

Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children. They bear witness to this responsibility first by creating a home where tenderness, forgiveness, respect, fidelity, and disinterested service are the rule. The home is well suited for education in the virtues. This requires an apprenticeship in self- denial, sound judgment, and self-mastery - the preconditions of all true freedom.

First Reconciliation and Communion in the Diocese of Baker requires two years of formation beginning in first grace and concluding in 2nd grade with the reception of the Most Holy Eucharist. Register here. Contact the faith formation office for more information.

Confirmation in the Diocese of Baker requires two years of formation concluding by the end of 6th grade. Since we celebrate Confirmation every other year in our parish, your child may begin preparation in 4th or 5th grade. Register here. Contact the faith formation office for more information.
