Formation of Catechists

The whole concern of doctrine and its teaching must be directed to the love that never ends. Whether something is proposed for belief, for hope or for action, the love of our Lord must always be made accessible, so that anyone can see that all the works of perfect Christian virtue spring from love and have no other objective than to arrive at love.

At St. Pius X we take seriously forming catechists in a comprehensive and cohesive knowledge and living of Catholic faith and spirituality. We do so by offering an eight month overview of the faith that includes formation in conversational catechesis, monthly continuing catechesis during catechist group sessions, and by encouraging continual personal growth in faith and spirituality.
