Mission Statement
St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, within the Diocese of Baker, is a community of Catholic Christians who are united by God, formed by the Gospels, strengthened by the sacraments and the liturgy as well as the teachings of the Catholic Church. We are committed to evangelization and education. We encourage a greater commitment to love and follow Christ, by living out the Catholic faith and to promote peace and justice in our parish, our community, and our world. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we pledge ourselves to pursue this mission through participation in the liturgical, sacramental, educational, and social ministries of the Church.

The Gospel—Jesus Christ is King-Husband!
According to the Hebrew Bible, the God of Israel is King of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. Therefore, the God of Israel reigns over all! The Gospel—the Good News—is the God of Israel became human in the person of Jesus Christ. He established His Kingdom on earth to renew humanity and creation through His life, death, resurrection, ascension, and the sending of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, Jesus Christ reigns over all! Also, according to the Hebrew Bible, the God of Israel is the Husband of His people, Israel. The Gospel—the Good News—is Jesus Christ, as the God of Israel in human flesh, is the Husband of His people, the Church, Israel and All Nations united together as one flesh with King Jesus. For this reason, Jesus and the Church, His Bride, still proclaim, “This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” That is, turn to King-Husband Jesus, pledge your allegiance and faithfulness to Him, and become a citizen of His Kingdom and one flesh with Him.
The way you become a citizen of His Kingdom and one flesh with Him is by entering the New Covenant, the marriage covenant, with Him. Through the grace-given-gifts of faith, Baptism, and Confirmation, you are mysteriously united with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through being united with Jesus in this way, the Holy Trinity—the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit—freely removes sin from you and fills you with Himself to be in the New Covenant marriage with Him. He makes you new on the inside; giving you a new heart and spirit and the Holy Spirit, so that you may love the Holy Trinity and all people, and care for creation the way He made you to. In the Gospels, King Jesus has also revealed to you the New Covenant commandments through which you show Him, all people, and creation your love. In fact, you must agree to live by these New Covenant commandments to remain in the New Covenant marriage with Him, to be faithful to Him.
After asking for and receiving the grace-given-gifts of faith, Baptism, and Confirmation, and after agreeing to live by the New Covenant commandments, you consummate your marriage covenant with King-Husband Jesus by participating in the Holy Mass, offering the Sacrifice of Christ to the Father, and consuming the Sacrifice in His presence. In this way, you fully become disciples of Jesus Christ, citizens of His Kingdom, and one flesh with Him.
Do you want to become a disciple of King-Husband Jesus and a citizen of His Kingdom? Do you want to enter the New Covenant and become one flesh with Him? If so, ask the Holy Trinity to give you the gift of faith. Then, contact a local Catholic Church to present yourself for Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. With the Holy Trinity and all the Angels and Saints in Heaven, we would wholeheartedly rejoice to have you join our All-Nations Kingdom Family!
